THE ONIONS

THE ONIONS are a Manitowoc, WI band.  Formed in summer 2009, lead guitarist and singer/songwriter Brad X teamed up with drummer Jesse, and guitar player Brent. Brad's wife Amber currently plays bass. The music is a unique blend of 1960s American garage rock mixed with some classic rock and a punk rock edge.  THE ONIONS currently have several sets of material (over 50 total songs).  Bands and music covered include early Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Rolling Stones, 999, and Flamin' Groovies, among others.  Many of the songs are obscure album cuts, not the obvious songs other bands play.  THE ONIONS played MetroJam in Manitowoc, SXSW in Austin TX and are now playing NE Wisconsin all ages shows, bar gigs, parties, etc.  and working in the studio on their debut 7" vinyl single and full length CD.
